My final wedding of the season was with Bob & Michelle. Bob and I used to play baseball back in the day so when him and Michelle asked me to shoot their wedding I was excited to see how he’s been. After initially photographing their engagement photos earlier in the year I also got the opportunity to get to know Michelle as well. Suffice it to say I was very anxious to work with them again for their wedding.

It was time for yet another Fall Portrait session. The location this time around was just outside of town on Mountain Road. The weather was fantastic although it was a bit chilly. The important thing was that there was still some fall colours lingering around. Once I arrived at Anne’s house, the kids quickly got ready and then it was off to a nearby trail which I have never been down before.

Centennial Park was the setting for my most recent photo session. Leah, Stephen and their family decided to take take advantage of my Fall Portrait Special. They were leaving to fly back to Vancouver the next day so everyone was hoping for a good day of weather. We got what we wished for because it was cool, cloudy and most importantly, it didn’t rain!

As I mentioned in my previous post, I had two sessions at Centennial Park this past weekend. This was the second one and it was just as fun and spontaneous. Even though it was the same location, the photos were completely different! We really took advantage of the fall colours and leaves. Mainly because Grace was such a great sport. She pretty much stayed where she was put and smiled and played for the camera. I couldn’t have asked for a better model.

This past weekend was a busy one for me. I had two separate portrait sessions both at the same location, Centennial Park. First up was Leigh Anne, Dean & Quinn. With Fall now officially here (and almost gone), the colours are fantastic. As you can see from the photos, it makes for a wonderful fall palette.

As the wedding season winds down I am really cherishing the last few that I have. Luckily, my latest wedding was at yet another location which I have never photographed before. And, the weather was great, as usual. Stepstone Centre, which is located just north of Thunder Bay on Onion Lake Road, was where Tim and Alicia chose to have their wedding. As soon as you arrive, you notice the long driveway leading to the main house accompanied by a smaller guest house. Everything is surrounded by a huge forest.

After an engagement shoot at Chippewa Park a few works prior, it was time for the real thing. As soon as I arrived I made my way to the cabin where Alisha and her bridesmaids were getting ready. I took some elegant photos of the dress as well as some candid photos of everyone getting ready. With a bit of time to spare I then made my way to the ceremony area. It was located right by the water in behind the main cabin in a beautiful setting.

When Rachael & AJ contacted me to photograph their wedding at Silver Harbour I could not wait to do so. It is a very beautiful area, especially this time of year. The location of the wedding was at house right on Lake Superior. As guests gathered and mingled by the waterfront I began taking candid photos right away. We also did some group shots while we waited for Rachael to get ready.

Mission Marsh in Thunder Bay was once again the setting for yet another portrait session. This time around it was with Aya and Dennis. They got married earlier in the day and wanted me to spend an hour taking some post wedding photos.
