For one of my recent weddings, I had to travel all the way to Chippewa Falls, which is about 40 minutes outside of Sault Ste. Marie. Even though I must have driven past it many many time over the years, I never even noticed it. This is where Barbara and Darren chose to have the very small an intimate wedding ceremony.
Before we made it to the Falls though, we started at their camp, which was at Agawa Bay. For anyone not familiar with this part of Ontario, there are so many beautiful provincial parks. I can honestly say, this was probably my first time doing getting ready photos at an actual campground, which was so much fun.
After everyone got changed, we took a quick stroll along the absolutely gorgeous pebble stone beach. It was impossible not to come away with good photos.
It was then off to Chippewa Falls for the ceremony. They decided to it at the end of the trail, a little ways away from the actual falls. It was calmer there, and somewhat quieter. Although, still just as epic!
The ceremony itself was very sweet. As you can see, it really gave me a chance to focus on the happy family and location. Once it was all said and done we made sure to get some photos including the scenery. All in all, Iām so thankful I was part of such a wonderful day.
