I have photographed Amy and her family for quite some time now over the years, and it’s so nice seeing the kids grow up each time I seem them. The location we chose was a new one for me, Cowan Park. It was actually the perfect Fall spot, as the leaves were on the ground and there was still colour in the trees.

My last session on Saturday was with a Rochelle and her family whom I have photographed on multiple occasions. The great thing about this particular session was that there were 4 generations this time.

This past weekend I had couple full days of mini sessions. Tara, Dylan and Mya joined me for one at Centennial Park. Luckily the colour are still out, even though they are fading fast. They were so fun to capture, especially little Mya, who of course stole the show.

I am definitely seeing more and more small intimate weddings these days, and my latest one was with Kaylia and Emma at Kakabeka Falls. It was just them with a few of their family members. I was only there for the ceremony and some portraits afterwards, but it was more than enough time to capture a lot of great moments.

Late afternoon sessions at Trowbridge Falls always result in fantastic looking portraits. It helps when you have a beautiful mother and son to photograph in Stephanie and Haiden. There are so many great spots at the Falls and we took advantage of a few of them. They were both a little bit nervous on what to do while I took photos, but as always, I just told them to be themselves. It resulted in some natural and candid moments!

He is now 5 years old, and has so much personality. It’s so nice to see. Plus, we are at the point now where everyone just shows up and we do the session, because of the comfort level. It was an extremely relaxed and fun session, as always.

This was Courtney and her family’s second mini session in just under a month. The first one took place at the Tree Farm which was so good. This time around, we did Mission Island Marsh, which was different, but equally amazing. The session went by very quick, but it always amazes me how many good moments can be captured in just 30 minutes!

Ingrid and Vince had to postpone their wedding this summer due to the current situation, but that didn’t mean we still couldn’t do a portrait session. Which is exactly what we did, at Mission Marsh. As I was driving there, Ingrid told me she was setting up. I didn’t really know what to expect, but as you can see from the header image, it was amazing.
