My latest portrait session was one of the most interesting ones of the season. It was another large family shoot with even more kids this time and even more energy! Sometimes I wish I could watch my shoots afterwards and see just how much running around I did. I’ll never complain though as the photos when you are on the go often turn into some of the best candid photos.

After getting some truly timeless photos with the old car we made our way to the huge backyard. Whenver the kids sit still for a few moments, which was rare, I was able to get some family photos. Then we would let them run around a bit and just be themselves. The resulting photos were some of my favourites. Especially the ones with the wagon. All in all it was joy to photograph Amanda and her family. The hour and half went by so quick it’s amazing I was able to come away with so many good photos.
