Whenever I get the chance to do newborn photos I look forward to it so much. It's just a totally different experience and dynamic then regular portrait sessions. You definitely need a lot of patience and it also helps to just slow things down a lot and wait for that perfect moment.

Crystal's new son, Cody, was the subject of this particular session. He had been home for a few weeks now so she was anxious to get some photos done before he gets too big!

All I have to say is Cody was the perfect model He didn't cry and he pretty much stayed where we put him. Although we had to constantly hold up his head when he was propped up. But that is natural. After we got a lot of shots of just him, we managed to take a few with Crystal and the rest of her family.
