One of the reasons I enjoy photography so much, especially portrait photography, is because I get to meet so many great families. You never know what to expect but I am always pleasantly surprised. My session with Allison and her family, was definitely no exception. Everyone was very easy going and the kids were just full of energy.

Whenever you are dealing with kids, especially younger ones, in a portrait shoot, it can often be really tough to get everyone to sit still at once. It took a few attempts but we managed to capture some photos of the entire family on multiple occasions. And that is saying lots seeing as how it's extremely difficult for kids to sit still for too long, let alone smile on cue.

The rest of the session was me capturing some good candid photos as well as some more photos of the individual families. All in all, it was a whirlwind of an hour that went be extremely quick. But it was also a ton of fun. It was also really nice seeing their beautiful home and of course having the pleasure of spending a morning with a wonderful family. Thanks to Allison and her family for letting me capture some moments for them.
