I got to meet another great family this past Sunday for a portrait session at the Marina. This time around it was Anna and her extended family. The Marina ended up being the perfect location because it was such a casual session and it allowed us to stop here and there to capture some moments. There are a lot of places in town to host family portraits but I would say the Marina is one of my favourites because there are so many unique spots and backdrops there.
We started right by the docks at the far end and pretty much just worked our way around that section of the park. With 8 people I made sure to get a lot of different combinations as well as a bunch of group shots. Even Oreo, their dog, nailed a couple poses too!
My favourite moment was when the ladies suggested that they do a yoga pose and even Anna's mother got in on the action. It has to be one of my favourite photos of this season so far. Along with some posed and candid photos there were also a couple action shots of jumping and even piggy back riding.
In the end, the hour went by extremely fast, as it always does. It was a pleasure meeting Anna and her family and I really hope I get to photograph them all again.
