Once again I got the opportunity to photograph one of Helen Pelletier’s birch bark pieces. This one is called ‘Dagwagani Mawandochige’, which means fall gathering. It’s a winter birch bark 30-30 rifle holder. I say this every time, but it’s probably her best work to date.

I joined my wife and her friend at the DIY Studio here in the Thunder Bay. I was just there to tag along and check it out. I'm quite excited to post my first real product session.
