Kathleen and Lucas invited me to capture their wedding ceremony and some photos afterwards at the Thunder Bay Conservatory. Anytime I get to shoot there, it makes me so happy. It’s such a beautiful location. It also helped that Kathleen and Lucas were an equally beautiful couple.

For my recent family session were did a mix of indoors and outdoors. The location of choice was the Centennial Conservatory, which is one of the nicest indoor spots in town. After capturing some photos with the beautiful backdrop inside, we finished off with some nice winter shots in the snow outside.

Originally we were supposed to do Sue’s family session outside at Centennial Park, but with thunderstorms looming, she suggested the Conservatory. The weather ended up holding out long enough but I’m super happy we stuck with the Conservatory. It made for a very beautiful setting for photos. Everyone had a great time and I just love how the photos turned out.

Often times when I shoot weddings they are anywhere from 3 hours all the way up to 10 hours. This time around Marilynn and Robbie simply asked me to photograph their ceremony at the Conservatory. The total time ended up being 1 hour and 15 minutes. Even though it was an hour, I came away with so many wonderful photos.

This was probably one of the most last minute weddings I have ever done. Ryan had contacted me about a week prior to their wedding, we met a few days later and then the wedding was here. Just like that. Right up until the Saturday the actual location wasn’t even confirmed. They had it narrowed down to two locations, and depending on the unpredictable weather, they would choose accordingly.

Rob & Theresa celebrated their wedding this past June 1st and I had the pleasure of photographing them the entire day. We started at St. Peters Church in the East End. I had never been in this church before so I was in awe of how it looked on the inside. My favourite part was being able to go upstairs which allowed me to get some nice wide shots of the entire ceremony.
