Silver Harbour was the latest location of my most recent portrait session. Even though it was a 30 minute mini-session, it was just enough time to capture some truly memorable moments of Kate and her family. Admittedly, this was my first time doing a portrait session at this location but I had been here plenty of times before to go swimming. It ended up being the perfect day to do portraits. The sun was shining, with just a bit of cloudiness.
This session was actually quite a special one too. Kate actually lives in Saskatchewan and her family resides in central Ontario. So they were only together for a short amount of time and decided it would be the perfect time to get everyone together to do some portraits. Also, it was Kate's Dad's 60th birthday, her Mom's retirement and their 35th wedding anniversary! Wow!
As soon as everyone was ready, we made our way along the short trail along the water. There was just a bit of shade there so it ended up being a good starting location to get everyone comfortable behind the camera. With that being said, everyone was great and right from the get go, my job was extremely easy.
After that, we headed down to the docks for a couple quick photos and eventually behind the parking lot where there was a seating area. It went by extremely fast but I'm so excited with how the photos turned out. It really shows just how much fun everyone had during the session. I feel honoured to have been chosen to photograph Kate and her family.
