For one of my recent weddings, I had to travel all the way to Chippewa Falls, which is about 40 minutes outside of Sault Ste. Marie. Even though I must have driven past it many many time over the years, I never even noticed it. This is where Barbara and Darren chose to have the very small an intimate wedding ceremony.

Kathleen and Lucas invited me to capture their wedding ceremony and some photos afterwards at the Thunder Bay Conservatory. Anytime I get to shoot there, it makes me so happy. It’s such a beautiful location. It also helped that Kathleen and Lucas were an equally beautiful couple.

My second last wedding of the year was a family affair, which is was a nice change of pace. That doesn’t mean it was an easy day though. I still worked just as hard, if not harder, than my usual wedding days. With that being said, it was really nice knowing a lot of people at a wedding.

Erin and John said their vows on the very first day of this month and I was happy to be there to capture their wedding day. With only a couple more weddings this year before the season wraps up, I’m thankful for every single wedding I have had the pleasure of photographing.

The Delta Hotel was once again the latest location for a recent wedding I captured. What can I say about Alanah and Brenden’s Wedding day? Only that it was so much fun and I can’t believe how fast the whole day flew by. I started with Alanah and the girls getting ready at their mom’s house. I was able to get a few details before they showed up and then a lot candid moments.

Having just done AJ + Precious’ engagement photos a month earlier, it felt like their wedding came so quick. From what I heard too, it was organized somewhat last minute too, which you wouldn’t have even been able to tell. It was just the perfect wedding, and I’m so thankful I was a part of it.
Read MoreSheila + Trevor Wedding - Fort William Historical Park
My first wedding of the year at Fort William Historical Park with Sheila and Trevor was a really sweet one. It was a small wedding, which is my favourite kind, seeing as how they are always so intimate. It just so happened that one of the biggest events of the year, Country on the Bay, was also taking place about 200 feet away. You wouldn’t have known it though, which is a good thing.
